Homelink retrofit?

I do not want the Premium Package because IMO, a sunroof is useless to me. Is it possible to retrofit Homelink? We were able to do it on a E46 3 Series back in the day.

Where is the Homelink panel mounted on the X1?

It's part of the rear view mirror. The buttons are on the bottom left edge of the mirror.

Thank you. Hopefully its a simple as buying a mirror with Homelink. On the E46, it was a separate panel where you had to cut the headliner to pop in.

It's a very easy retrofit on an E46. I did it on mine. Changing the entire mirror is a much more expensive proposition.

Does anyone know if an E90 mirror with homelink fits?
I can get an E90 mirror with homelink, auto dimming, and compass for $70CAD.
