Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum.
I don't know anything about short coding

I have a 2017 x1

I have a 6.5 screen I wanted to switch it to 8.8 but black screen with "no signal"

I coded with bimmercode but still the same.
You have any ideas ?

not going to work unless you buy a voltage converter cable.

in short, your HU is apix1 - this screen you got is apix2, so voltages are different hence 'no signal'.

you either need an apix1 8.8 screen, new HU that handled apix2, or get the cable. i opted for the apix1 screen as i was in the same boat as you. Once i got apix1 8.8 screen, no issues at all.
