Maybe I'm getting old and grumpy. But I do not like the way short sidewall tyres/large wheels look on SUVs at all.

Anyway, no. I haven't seen any photos and nothing comes up on Google search either. Might be a good idea to to try a couple of configurators to see how it looks like. Most wheel manufacturers and major resellers should have some sort of a configurator on their website. Here's a basic one on MyTyres.co.uk.

larger 20"+ diameter rims can look a bit like wagon wheels (old wild west)
Not to mention that they give a very hard ride on the road.

Ride is the same as RFT 19" as the side walls are softer than RF's

As I said in the earlier post... it rides the same as the 19's with raft. The 20's are non run flats

I running Nexen N8000..... they have rave reviews and decently priced. No complaints so far!!

What size tires and what size rims are those (width, offset). Looks good. Also where did you get the sleeves for the exhaust. Like the look

YUK, awful. There is a reason they invented pneumatic tyres (tires) after Wagon wheels

The owner must be looking to work for Cobb & Co or Wells Fargo by the looks of those wagon wheels on this X4

OP indicated this was spotted, so perhaps not Photoshopped?!

I think there's a group of car modders in the US who do this. It's known as "donking" (probably other names as well)

It is extremely ugly, IMHO.

When you say "sleeves" for the exhaust, is it literally something you slide on top of the existing tips?

Yes the existing chrome exhaust tip is a sleeve on top of the stainless steel exhaust tip. You remove this and replace it with the black version

20 x 8.5 wheels - tire sizes?

Need some help picking out some tires - was thinking 225/35r20's - would that work? Heard that 20's push the envelope and need tires with a smaller aspect ratio - pls help!

Actually 225/40 is closer in size to OEM but I would assume your 20inch rims will also be wider. For 8.5 inch wheels I would do 245/35
