I then went out and drove a Panamera turbo and thought....why would I need a 911? My next thought was...exactly when does the Pajun come out? Dammit! |

Seriously, if the Panny weren't so damn expensive or (less of a reason) so hunchbacked, it truly would be the perfect car for me. |

There's no argument here, just a forum thread soliciting feedback from other forum participants. Title of the thread is self explanatory. If you do, however, see an argument or trying to have one, you're in the wrong place. I suggest maybe switching to decaf...

I'm not the one who's arguing. Everyone agrees with me. The title is self-explanatory, and everyone agrees that you would not have the cars at the same price even remotely the same. Even with PDK, metallic and PTV and NO OTHER OPTIONS, you're still well over $90k. So now with your 10% discount, you're mid-80's for a blown out M4 or high $80's for a stripper 991. If you really worshipped at the alter of Stuttgart that much, then sure, maybe. But I think about 1 in 1,000,000 people would follow that logic or see the value. |

Yep, when I think value, I think GTR! MY2015 is out already, can't wait for a four way comparo between M4 / GTR / 911 C2S / Z06

Well if we are talking performance bang for the buck it has to go to GTR. Porsche and BMW have kinda the same view of a car and that is balance. Defiantly can't say that about AMG. Their solution is wow the buyer or reviewer with 600hp. Seems like AMGs take is to throw more horsepower at a car and buyers will forget about the rest lol.

Idk look at the worlds biggest POS in my opinion the Ferrari California 180k, the GT3 smokes it. GT3 really not that expensive when you think about what you are getting, plus if you get one now you could easily sell it 15k above msrp.

True, Honestly if I didn't have kids,I would get a GT3 or new Z06, never thought I would say I would buy a corvette but new Z06 is awesome. Detroit has really come along ways in the last 10 years. Had a Ford Edge rental last week. Was really surprised at how far technology and quality has come in American cars.
Felt on par with Japanese cars for once. |

I did not read all 3 pages of this thread but I will say this and forgive me for saying it.
A Porsche will always be a Porsche. A BMW will never be one. A BMW will be just a BMW. The same way why a Porsche can never be a Bugatti. It's just a Porsche. You are comparing Apples to Oranges. I think many people who show Porsche do so for its name, |
