iPhone Bluetooth connection Drops

Hi all,

I seem to have random Bluetooth connection drops while driving.

This has happened on my iPhone Xs and now 11 Pro as well... so iOS12 and 13.

Connection is stable and then when I'm in a call for a while it drops randomly sometimes and can't connect back to the car.

Anyone esle experience such issues and was able to fix it?

A few months ago I was having the same issue. I troubleshooted the hell out of my phone. I restored to factory settings and the connection would work for a handful of days but then drop again. Essentially, I did everything I could in order to isolate the problem to the BMW knowing that they could say something is wrong with your phone.

What solved it was servicing my car and requiring them to factory reset the iDrive infotainment system. Good luck.
