Hi,

My car is an F48 sDrive 18d 2016, LHD for European market.
It has only one central locking switch, on the front left driver's door.
Yesterday I added a central locking switch on the front right door, but is not functional (only the lights inside are working).

Does anyone know if there is a coding for making functional the central locking button on the right door ?

The F48 for the US and China markets has this button functional.

Hi,
I have F48 X1 sDrive 18d (02/2018), with 6.5" ENTRYNAV2 and 6UN nav, without AUX input, under the arm board.

If I understand well, retrofitted ApplePlay or Android device route the sound through the AUX port. How can be provided in my case ? AUX still exists on the head unit ? Can be opened by coding?

BWM's Carplay is BT/Wifi handshake. It does not use a tethered phone.

If you retrofit, it would depend on solution used.

Hi,
can you be more specific, for example the ACP Unique and Android AVIN device like:
http://www.audicom.it/index.php?id_p...roller=product

When I spoke with the dealer, they proposed this solution:
http://www.audicom.it/index.php?id_p...roller=product

Maybe the AUX still exists on the head unit, but need to be unlocked ?

Carplay is wireless and does not need Aux input for audio. Both audio and video are transmitted via wifi.

If you want AUX for some reason, yes, you could use USB adapter.

Ok, and how you will route the Avin / Android device sound ?

In my case, ACP dongle will be plugged in Android USB port.

For that, I am unsure. Do you know if website has more information about product or installation?

Hi,

dealer recommended AUX to USB dongle (link above).

Thought that AUX can be accessed/unlocked on the head unit.

If you still want to adjust how much the seat moves back then other two settings can be adjusted. If you are struggling to find settings in E-sys then consider using Bimmercode.
Hello.
Changed the amount of seat adjustment.

Section 3012 has no settings.
However, there is a setting in section 3015.
I got information from here.

BIMMERCODE
ECUs → Seat Module Driver (CFAS_PLX_1) → Expert Mode
→ 3015_0_1_255 → 0x3C(Default:0x3C)=EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS
→ 3015_4_5_255 → 0x37(Default:0x64)=EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_P HYS

Let's share this information.
Thank you very much.

Do not code all to EU as that can cause issues as hardware may be different.

Navigation map region will not be an issue.

It is more things like drivetrain, lighting, airbags, etc.

Hello!

Changing the default distance of Adaptive Cruise Control(3 to 2 frames)

ECUs -> SAS -> LDM_Abstandsstufe_init -> Werte = 02 (default: Werte = 03)

2. Change Triple-Blink Count to blink 5 times. (Tested OK)
3. Enable Illumination of Exterior Door Handle LEDs when in Reverse. (Tested OK)
4. Set cell phone ringer as primary. (Tested OK)
5. Enable Video Files from USB (Need to know the supported formats to play one).
6. Add GPS Current Location to Navi Menu Items. (Not sure where to see for it).
7. Air Re-Circulating (But actually wanted to set to Manual Re-circulation, probably settings should be changed 3003MEMORY_UMLUFT -> nicht_aktiv ?)
8. Add Digital Speed to LCD Display via BC button.(Tested OK)
9. Turn on Brake Force Flashing with Hard Braking (Yet to test).
10. DVD-in-Motion activated (But don't believe F048 can read DVD so unable to test).
11. Close/Open Rear Hatch from Fob & Kick Panel. (Tested OK)
12. Enable Curb and Grass Detection for Lane Departure Warning System (Not sure what extra feature will this add to the lane departure - yet to test, will it monitor grass instead of white lines? ).
13. Enable Rear-View Camera at all Speeds (Not sure how to use it, as rear camera is shown only on Reverse Gear).

Following was coded but didn't work:
1. Enable Turn Signals in HUD. (HU: 3001HUD_TURNSIGNAL set to: aktiv)
2. Turn off MMI when door is opened -> BDC : 3020  TCM_LOGIC_R_OFF_DOOR = aktiv 01

This function was not found at all:
1. Unlock Doors on Engine OFF -> BDC: 3040  VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK = aktiv 01 (Did anyone else found it in F048 ?).

Next: Curious to learn about the HK equalizer settings, hence saved the CAFD files into my laptop and need to know if there is any software available to read the CAFD files in offline mode, to do research on the Harmon Kardon Equalizer settings.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Did most of these. My fob closes the tail. FOB Lock: Closes everything including mirrors except tailgate. Convenience handle lock closes everything except tail...maybe I didn't hold it long enough though....

Hi guys! Love this thread. Allowed me to do a lot of coding on my own so far.

Question.
Has anyone gotten the following two settings to work?
1. Power on car without using foot pedal
2. Single press power on car

On my 2016 X1 when I code those options from the cheat sheet my car will no longer start at all. I have to code them back to get it to start again.

Thanks!

Also after coding some standard options there is now a Brake System warning...

I have ran Transmitter and cleared all DTC and it still pops up. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
