Reset everything on Bimmercode

Hi, I’ve just gotten my 2016 X1 F48 sDrive18i last 2 weeks and already set some things using Bimmercode.
Now that I found my left side mirror has been acting weird lately and the dimming function is not working I’ve called my dealer and they asked me to send the car back so they can have a look. But I don’t want to create problem so I’m thinking to reset everything I’ve coded before sending in.
So before trying out setting the backup on my first connection to bimmercode and let all the codes turn back as of day one?
Or do I code every changes I’ve made one by one?

Just use backup, will probably work fine.

Otherwise you can use e-sys and vo-code the ecus again. This will reset them to default state.

Thanks mrpingu for your reply I’m really worried if I can’t find any help in here as F48 models have aged and people carried on with other cars. I’ve really learned a lot in here about coding the features in my car.

the dealer is going to update the istep since it’s probably out of date and this will reset all coding.

you really don’t need to restore your coding to stock as they will just do it anyways with their update.

Oh, that’s what I’m afraid after they update and the settings I used to know go haywire
Maybe I just let the side mirror be and get over it lol
