Wheel and tire question
My wife just bought a (new to her ) 2018 X1 M Sport! Really nice car! Love it. She wants new wheels though. I have a set of BC Forged • Front 20x9.5 +25
Rear 20x11 +45 Will these fit on her car? She loves them, and I was going to give them to her if they will fit. I'm not super familiar with the X1 so I hope you guys can shed some light. |

Why fit staggered wheels/tyres to a FWD-biased awd SUV? They'll likely increase the car's existing tendency to understeer and make it much less pleasant to drive.

Hey BostonMIke.. you most likely will have the problem where your wheels are the classic BMW 5X120 but.. all these X1's and X2's use a 5X112 bolt pattern, so it won't fit. Otherwise.. I think the fronts might really stick out, the rears will probably be ok.

I really like TSW. They have tons of options at a good price: https://fitment.tsw.com/fit-details?...model=X1%20F48
IMO 20" is too much for the X1. I mean, it looks great, but the tyre will not have enough height for a SUV. Unless your streets are in excellent condition =).

Along with what ricerocket said about the bolt pattern... Perhaps, you can check the 5 series wheels from 2017-2020. I found out that they have the bolt pattern 5x112mm also. What I am not sure is the center bore. I assume they are 66.6mm too, but I was not able to find anything clear about it yet.
Just as example: https://www.hubcaphaven.com/c/639/bm...eels_rims.html If you really want staggered wheels, these seem to fit more for a X1 with 20x8 front and 20x9 rear comparing to the 20x11 rear you mentioned. With a wheel width of 11", your tire should be at least 265, it seems excessive in my opinion. |
