Crazy Professional Radio

Ok, so I've started playing MP3 cds in my car. The first cd I did was a mix of songs, which my comp ordered by track number, so the albums I put on the cd were split up across the cd due to the track numbers...

So the cd list basically looks like

track 1 (album 1)
track 1 (album 2)
track 1 (album 3)
track 2 (album 1)
track 2 (album 2)
track 2 (album 3)
track 3 (album 1)
track 3 (album 2)
track 3 (album 3)

etc...

In order to combat this, I changed the order of the cd on my comp, so that all the albums were burned together on the cd...

So the cd list now looks like....

track 1 (album 1)
track 2 (album 1)
track 3 (album 1)
track 1 (album 2)
track 2 (album 2)
track 3 (album 2)
track 1 (album 3)
track 2 (album 3)
track 3 (album 3)

etc...

However, the cd player in the car is still playing the cd in track order, just like the first cd. You can hear the player searching the cd for the next track number when it skips track, rather than just playing the next track on the cd.

Is there anyway I can change this, cause its rather annoying. I want the cd player to play the cd in the order it is burned, and not the track number order.

If I cant, it will mean renaming all 150+ tracks on the cd so they cd player will play the track order, which will be a bloomin nuisence!

Garage List
Why not just create a folder for each album?

album 1
+- track 1
+- track 2
album 2
+- track 1
+- track 2

When the player finishes the last track of an album, it will move to the first track of the next album.

And I don't believe there's a correlation between the "order" you burn and the order it's read. The player will read the directory contents and sort by folder/filename, period.
