2017 X1 F48 Screen upgrade advice

Hi all. I just purchased a CPO 2017 X1 and since it only has the small 6 inch screen, I am thinking about upgrading it to a larger one. Can anyone please advise the correct part number for the larger 8.8" screen? I am looking at ebay but most of the ones people are selling are for other series cars so I am not sure if those would fit. Is there any other better option for upgrading to a bigger screen that anyone can suggest? Thank you.

I can help you with the larger screen part #. Have you considered an Android based system? Have a look here:

I would also consider changing to those aftermarket Android built-in screens (eBay has tons of them). Much more functionality and cheaper as well.

Thanks for the responses. Do these Android screens add functionality that my car does not have? Like CarPlay or similar?

It is basically an Android phone that you can load apps on it via Google play store. So whatever you can do on your Android phone, it can be done there. The beauty is that it works with the idrive controller, so it looks like it's from the factory.

Thank you. Will upgrading to an Android screen affect my warranty?
