Tyres?
Been mentioned in a few threads, so thought it would interesting to see which tyres BMW have been fitting.
I got Pirelli Cinturato P7 non-RFTs 225/50 W on the the standard 569 18" wheels. |

I also got a set of 560 wheels with winter tyres, which came with Goodyear UltraGrip 8 225/55 R17
(I've swapped those for Michelin CrossClimate as mentioned elsewhere). |

I'm interested about this - ordered mine with RunFlat but I'm planning for a long trip in December going from UK to south Italy - that will mean crossing few mountain areas with chances of snow. Are the cross climate run flat? I'd be looking for an all seasons run flat (there will possibly snow only for a small part of the journey, so the all seasons should be fine.)

I got a call today from the dealer. The leasecompany doesn't agree with the choice of tyres the dealer deliverd: Blizzak LM25, They have to change the tyres to Continentals. I allready drove 5.500km. They are probably not so happy, but that is not my problem I think I let them change to summer tyres else i have to change them again next month pffff

Do all all-season have M&S? In particular the P7 Cinturato? (it seems CrossClimate is not available for 225/50 R18) Last edited by manub; 02-25-2016 at 04:38 PM.. |

Checking online, Pirelli do a P7 M+S runflat in the 18 inch size. Pity not an option from BMW. Porsche offer M+S as a free option on the Macan - seems a logical choice for an SUV...

Do you have a link? On Pirelli GB website I couldn't find them but I saw something similar from other websites. They only mention All Seasons though, which I'm not sure will comply with German regulation of having M+S. |

Got my 2016 X1 last Saturday.. LUV IT, but having said that, I hate the tires. Has anyone put new non-run flats on a 2016 X1 idrive yet? If so which ones and how easy/hard was it

Can anyone confirm if they have non RFT in Canada? My dealer didnt told me about that non RFT option. Only 18 inch all season RFT or 19 inch Summer performance RFT.

I went to Parkview BMW Toronto. I should have reasearched on my own rather than relying on them. I even see more options on BMW USA website in wheels but Canadian BMW.ca doesnt have those option.
