My sales told me it will move when I get the car.
But it never did (Haven't ask him why yet, after i had the car for 5 months). Even in -15c , no movement. I would love to see it move......

My mom's 745i has an adjustable redline the moves when it gets warm.
My 330i's redline is fixed.

Hm... maybe a new E90 might have an adjustable redline. Who knows... Never seen my redline move.

Nice thinking ward. But the diesels get a different cluste with different scaling on the tach. Not just an adjusted redline...

Maybe the guy who converted the tach to blue messed up the wiring and changed the redline inadvertantly.
Or if you notice, the guages are sitting on carpet. Maybe when he wired up the power supply, he wired it up so that all of the adjustable redline lights lit up. |
