Damn the 335i rumors...full speed ahead!
I have been thinking about an E90 for some time now and was undecided between the 325i and the 330i. Then the 335i rumors started and slowed me down.
But the year end deals were too good to pass up (especially for us here in the Dallas area where deals are just not available, and dealers act like they are doing you a favor if they come off MSRP). In the end I decided that if the 335i comes out later this year, so be it. I pulled the trigger and drove my baby home from the dealer yesterday . Got the 330i SG/Black/Step/Premium/Nav/CA/Sat Radio. Almost got the 325i, but in the end the extar power of the 330i won over, and whats a few thousand $$ between friends? My first impressions are all positive, just an incredible driving experience. Still trying to learn about the iDrive and the Comfort Access, but I am sure I will figure it out in a few days. So far I have respected the break-in rules, but it is hard not to go over. This is one smooth engine. The one question I have is about the stuff that comes with the car: I want to make sure that the dealer included what he was supposed to, ie, Falshlight, First Aid Kit, etc. Can someone please post that list. I apreciate it. Will post some pics as soon as I get a chance. Can't seem to wipe the smile off my face.....

The First Aid Kit is not standard in the US, I believe. It is standard for any Euro Delivery car while used in Germany because of German law. When I did Euro Delivery for my son's 330, they offered, at drop off, to give me the First Aid Kit because otherwise it would be removed.

bmg - Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your excellent choice!!
The first aid kit is standard in Europe, but not in the U.S. Same for the rear seat power supplies, etc. I always read my owner's manual cover-to-cover when I get a new car, and find that helps immensely (and gives me stuff to go check out). This is a great place to come if you have questions though! Enjoy the new baby!!

Cool. What trim color? I got Artic, black interior and aluminum. With aluminum pedals, it is something to see when you open the door and show the interior. All the interior options look great.
As you get familar with the controls, and it starts to break in, it really is a pleasure - and it just keeps on getting better. Congrats.

BMG,
You got it right. Buy the product that is on the market now if you want the car now (which you do) rather than something that may or may not come into existence. Nice one. Congrats on your purchase. You will learn the operational aspects of the car very quickly.

Congratulations and welcome.
I was so happy the day I came off run-in, and nearer 5,000km on the clock the engine is still loosening up and giving me more and more each day. iDrive and CA will become second nature real soon, it didn't take me long to settle into the routine. It is funny watching friends try and drive and I don't give them the key and they are forever looking to put a key in or take it out just like I was for the first week.
