Bimmercode - drive mode programmng

Is there a way, and if so how, to programme my 2018 Xdrive to set off in comfort mode then change to normal mode automatically? I find setting off in normal can be jerky irrespective of how gentle I try and whilst comfort gives a smoother set off the acceleration after say 25mph is lethargic, I want the best of both worlds!

no - all you can do is use bimmercode to default to a certain drive mode (sport, comfort, eco) but no such thing as having the car automatically switch to next mode.

Can your gear shift lever move over into an M/S gate? If yes, then try leaving the drive mode in comfort…then when you move above 25 MPH…shift the gear lever over into the M/S gate (and leave it there without moving it)…this should put it in sport mode (drivetrain only) and will give you higher revs and to take advantage of your engine’s output.
