We purchased our 2021 US Spec BMW X1 from Military Sales in Germany and were told once we bring it back to the US connected drive would work properly. Now that we are back connected drive still isn't working. The genius bar can see that the car is in their system but we are not able to security code message to come through when setting it up in the app. This is keeping us from having the main feature we are looking for in car play.

That brings us to the second slightly linked issue. The car came with Euro maps installed and I am wanting to install the US maps. I have seen people mention needing a FCC code but not sure on how to go about that without paying the inflated dealer prices.
