People using the wrong form of to is one of my biggest grammatical pet peeves.

It *really* annoys me how many people misspelled "payed" on THIS forum. "Payed" is not a word.

The correct spelling is "paid."

Sighs. I think there's something wrong with our education system in this country. Makes me wonder how they (people who misspelled "payed", most likely with a limited education) can afford to buy a $50,000 Bimmer car??

I'm not a nazi.. i might not have perfect punctuation and capitalization.. but i'm not a nazi for at least speaking proper english...

fuck, this one bothers me the most! english is my second language, i never never went to school in states or any other English-speaking country, yet i can spell better than most of the people i know!

Your grammar seems to be better than 70% of the people I come into contact with on a daily basis.

Also, doesn't everyone's browser have a spellchecker built in? I know Firefox and Safari do...how can people ignore all those squiggly red lines in their paragraphs? (If they bother using paragraphs, that is.)
