Bent rear lower control arm

I recently slid on some ice impacting a street curb which damaged the left rear wheel and also discovered the lower control arm bent from the impact. I could use some information on the replacement procedure for a lower rear control arm if anyone would like to share advice or experiences.

There's a guy on the X2 owner's FB group that just last week dealt with a sheared off control arm. I believe it's the same side as well. Might want to check it out if you're not already on there.
