Doesn't really matter. When the hybrid era began, they are the ONLY ones that got it right. For years, everyone played catch up which allowed merc to push their thermal efficiency over 50%.

What's even more comical is Renault whining about needing to go hybrid in F1 and when the rules changed like they wanted, they were garbage.

Oh it does,a lot. The late Lauda told Montezemolo that Merc were building a hybrid in 2007 then twisted FIA's arm to bring it in from the '14 season on 'green grounds'. Probably the biggest swindle in f1 history.

Their success with Schumi made them think they can hang with MB. Just imagine if the crash in LeMans didn't make MB leave the sport, Ferrari's legacy would be overshadowed.

That's always been Ferrari's problem. They think they are smarter than everyone else. Hence the smirk on Binotto's face prior to pre-season testing

If it looks like a wing & performs like a wing it's a wing.

MBs mirror mounts break the spirt and letter of the regulations. In fairness, MB isn't doing anything wrong but the FIA should have axed the design upon its submission.

Fair enough in our and Ferrari's interpenetration. Claim made move on is my point. I have no problem with how Ferrari is handling it, they save their "complaints" or arguments. That's part of any sport, but should not be abused to slow down all other teams nearly every time they do anything innovative. Ferrari has had some questionable mirror designs that were banned for the same reasons they are claiming here, so fair enough here and understood. Lets see what the FIA has to say.

The video I linked to earlier went over the mirrors and rules in great detail.

Looks like the teams are starting to push and mid pack cars are showing some real pace. Man these cars have a horrible mid corner push.
