Yes, go to 'Setup' (2nd to last option on the bottom row with the cog wheel icon), then the 1st option (Language) and then the 2nd item is English.

Nope, at 19:31 they updated the tracking to show it was back at the depot (with a 5pm timestamp).

So I went to the collect from depot option which then allowed me to know where it was (couldn't do this before as it was showing out for delivery).

So rang the depot, they answered and just said sorry, the delivery driver had too many deliveries to do (I was number 36 and he left the depot at 7.59am and he only got to delivery 31 according to the tracking).

Then said it will be out for delivery tomorrow, I said i'm not waiting in all day again, so keep hold of it and i'll come collect it, he said well we close in 20 mins (not enough time for me to get there), so i said i'll come collect it tomorrow which he said was fine.

5 mins after I got off the phone, the tracking updates to say it's out for delivery tomorrow.

On another note, I tested calls through CarPlay and it was ok. They told me that there was some echo on the other end but nothing crazy. I will try the newest firmware to see if anything changes. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to not get any echo?

Yeah there are settings I posted earlier in the thread, but I would say you are just far better using the BT in the BMW

The problem with the BMW Bluetooth is that my phone defaults to CarPlay and then I have to chose the bmw Bluetooth. Not very convenient while driving.

Also, I don't hear Waze notifications if I am on BMW Bluetooth, because they go through CarPlay

I will look for the settings. I thought I saw something somewhere

Edit: I found these settings, but mine doesn't look like that. Is it like this on the new firmware? What is the PGA and OP?

Can't you delete the carplay bluetooth connection on your phone and use wi-fi only ?

I don't know, I still don't bloody have mine yet.

I was asking if you can just delete the BT connection on the carplay side as that will stop the phone connecting then.

I would hope the Wireless Carplay works using the Wi-Fi.

Looking for advice if possible I am mid install and can't get the unit to work. On the screen I have 'No Signal'. I have re checked the connections and no luck so far. Have also been in touch with the seller. I have dip switches 123 selected as I have put in an 8.8" screen which I coded first. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
