I understand the Msport 325 comes with an Eisenmann exhaust.

I have done a resonator Delete but considering retaining the Eisenmann muffler but just increasing the tips.....
While I can't be absolutely sure about the NZ market, my understanding is that cars in MSport trim were NOT fitted with an Eisenmann as stock. However there have been suggestions that maybe Eisenmann were contracted to manufacture the BMW Performance exhaust, which was offered as a dealer-fit accessory. As the Performance exhaust for the E9X 325i is now discontinued, an Eisenmann is probably the closest substitute available for a Performance exhaust.

Hi, thanks and cheers for the comment.

Is that the shape of the muffler is only a direct match, and the Eisenmann has different piping and perforations on the inside? Like the PE?

Yes I think you're right. The shape of the Eisenmann is very similar to the stock exhaust (back box) but the internals are different to allow a sportier sound.
