I can assure you that product strategists inside BMW are not saying, “Meh, people who want a small fast SUV can just buy a Stelvio, so no need to worry”. |

That thing Is UGE and some people like a small awd car that moves like thunder when they need it to. The AMG 45 moves out like there is no tomorrow. It's a fast as a M2 in the rain.

It should be a rocket with so much power. It's also very expensive. The problem with the GLA is that it's so cramped inside, particularly in the back. I'm not a particularly large person and my head is jammed into the corner of the side and roof. It's ridiculous. The X2 isn't a cavern inside like the X1, but it is much more comfortable in the back than the GLA.

If by all 3, you are referring to the X1, X2 and GLA, of course, they are cramped relative to larger vehicles. They are "small" vehicles, after all. It all comes down to what you need and/or want. I don't need a rocket, because I have an M3, which I'm not planning to sell. I wanted a small economical AWD SUV, so I looked at all of the vehicles in this class. I drove X1, X2 and GLA. I picked the X2 because it was closest to what I wanted, in terms of overall size, interior size, etc. I didn't pick it because it's a rocket. It has enough power for sitting in traffic. The X1 has more interior room than I required. The GLA has less interior room than I require. The X2 is right in the middle. YMMV.

GLA is definitely smaller interior wise than a X1. Also, the quadrifuglio is much faster. For 65k, it doesn’t matter how fast the 0-60 is, the engine is placed the wrong way and it is out of balance when you throw it into corners. Usual AMG problem just escalated with a worse setup.
