I’ve heard any duty grade optic/mount will hold up fine. Supposedly the recoil impulse send all the energy up towards the rail instead of back at the shooter, hence the soft shooting 308. I threw a trijicon 1-4x24 in an ADM cantilever made specifically for the scar 17, so we’ll see if it holds up. Can’t go wrong with an Elcan though.

But I can't complain about lots of additional weight just by adding EO tec and magnifier onto my L, and I suppose the same for the H. On the flipside a bullpup gun has a different center of gravity and you maybe change it significantly by adding the optics. Had you considered an ACOG or a 4x optic with a small Doctors sight on top?

There are too many badass guns out now, lol. This thing feels super nice. To me it feels like a modern lighter MP5.

Not sure if this is allowed but here it goes. As many of you know, us Illinoisans, had our 2A right stripped from us. We are surely gearing up for a tumultuous legal battle. Please consider donating to aid our people in taking back what we are rightfully deserved.

I love it! I love its feel, its heft and its looks. But I haven't shot it yet. I'm given to understand that the reported troubles happen far more frequently to the 5" version due to the heavier spring. We'll see.
I've wanted an Staccato for years but I couldn't justify the price let alone actually afford it. This is everything I could want out of a tactical pistol except for not having a threaded barrel. I suspect in the not too distant future, someone will make one for it, if not Springfield themselves. Until then, I'm chomping at the bit to put some rounds through it. |

Without going into politics (because we all know who the scumbags are responsible for this shit), are any other gun enthusiasts not really troubled by this ruling? If I'm being 100% honest, I always thought the braces were kind of a scam as they're every bit as able to be shouldered as a traditional stock. I think the industry really, really pushed this to the point where the beforementioned scumbags had an easy road to take here. I've always looked at the guns with braces as an SBR, and just kind of chuckle they've been around this long.
With that being said, I think all the NFA rules are a complete joke to begin with and I'm certainly not arguing this is just, within the 2A, or agreeing with it on principle. I'm just saying if we have to be honest, nobody but a super small percentage of disabled folks are actually using these braces as they're "supposed" to be used. Personally I only have one "pistol" with a brace currently and I've just been looking for an excuse to get an SBR stamp as I want a real Magpul adjustable stock on it. The braces have always been too short for me to shoulder 100% comfortably, so I've kind of steered clear of them for the most part. I've sold all but the 1 I have currently, and will likely put in for the stamp soon (as I've done before for other firearms). Still sucks for the 40 million people potentially out there with one of these guns/braces, and hopefully it's overturned in the courts. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...ilizing-braces |

Picked up my can today. Only sent about 30rds so far, but man does it shoot nice. Also ordered a P320 Compact RDS. Hopefully pick that up in a week.

I did the e-file back in April... so not the 90 days they said it would take, but not the year+ it could have taken.

I should've gotten the Sandman-S. I bought the -K for 300blk. It's okay with subs. -S would've been better.

I need to pick up subs yet, but firing some off the shelf rounds was already a big difference. Fires so smooth with fast follow ups. I was worried about it becoming too front heavy but it feels really good.
