Youtube videos loading painfully slow....

I can't be the only one, but it seems that YouTube videos, either embedded here or at YouTube's site, take forever to load these days.

It is taking 7 to 10 minutes to load a 3 minute video. I just checked my connection via Speedtest.net, and the results are what I expect (I'm on Comcast.)

What's the scoop?

I also use Comcast, and for the last few weeks youtube has loaded unusually slow. Thought it was my computer or something, but maybe not.

same here, youtube loading slow on me also. But it is a on and off kind of thing.

Comcast in Bay Area.

My dad also said he's experienced this Comcast youtube lag. Seems to be prevalent in the Bay Area. Thankfully I buffer videos super fast

Seems like it might be a Comcast thing. Wouldn't surprise me if Comcast was intentionally degrading the connection speed to YouTube....

same price as me. But I have to pay a extra $5 per month for their modem since I have their triple play.

Comcast has free wireless N router. Just pay $10 for shipping. I'm using it as my backup router. Just received mine last week.
