I gambled and it paid off, I scored this on aliexpress, and omg it’s amazing in my 2017 X1… night and day, sound quality improved too
Everything works with the oem side, only bad thing was my fault cause I forgot to plug the reverse cam cable, camera works, but doesn’t know when you put in reverse, I’ll have to do that again someday, not time now lol

Put a deposit down on a 2019 F48 X1 today. Whilst I’m waiting for it to be prepped for handover I thought I’d check if I can retrofit ACP to it.

Last 7 of the VIN are: 5P29396

I’m short on other details until I take handover of the car, probably this time next week so apologies if you need more information than I’m able to give for you to be able to check.

As always, retrofit an OEM Head Unit that supports CarPlay or add MMI box to the current Head Unit.

Correct. I cannot recommend any MMI box. I have zero experience with any.
