Rough Idle at Cold Start

Rough Idle at cold startup. 2017 F48 xdrive 28i. This has been random for about a year does it about once a month. I ended up last week doing a tuneup. New spark plugs ditched those Champion plugs with NGK and replaced new coils. All ordered from FCP Euro Thinking this would fix the issue. 4 days later did it again. Did not fix the issue. No codes being thrown. Been reading forums this is a common issue and could be in need of a software upgrade. What’s everyone thoughts on this?

How's your motor mount? My wife's was clunky on start up... the motor mount on the passenger side was shot, letting the engine bounce around.

Found the issue!! Was the PVC Purge Valve. Replaced it and no issues then yesterday I received a letter from BMW for the exact part I just fixed. Ordered it through FCP Euro. Motor mounts are good.

Here is the part #13907614013 Fuel Tank Breather Valve - Bosch

Here is the location where it’s located. Very easy fix. Right on top of engine front mounted.

It’s the same part listed in the BMW letter.

Good you found a solution to your problem! all's well now i hope.

Just for clarity, with the initial issue you had with the rough idle, is it only during after a cold startup?

Let us know pls. thanks.

sorry, to be more precise, only during a cold startup, and not any other time?

Would love to know if the EVAP valve is the actual solution to this. I've read that some people replaced the EVAP valve, and the rough start returned after a few days. Other people say the rough start is a software problem. Dealership staff is useless - they won't talk to me until I agree to a $340 charge for diagnostics-only.
