How did the PlastiDip held up after sometime? I did a set of wheels I had on another vehicle, but after a few months, it started peeling off.

It held pretty well. It lasted almost 2 years, then I removed and sold the wheels.
  • Cleaning before applying is really important. You must ensure there aren't any oils or debris on the wheels.
  • Then, how many layers did you use? I did 8 layers of black plus 3 layers of gloss.
  • Finally, you need to have special care when cleaning the wheels.
  • If some parts are peeling off, you can apply a little thinner, let it dry, and re-apply PlastiDip.

I had factory 18s m sport branded and while I liked the m logo the x1 looked kind of mid. Then I hit a pothole that bent a rim and delaminated a run flat, so a couple thousand later and I have just about the look I want. 19” toured wheels with 235s
