I have a 2020 and the my menu for the key button settings for tailgate gives me 2 options: Tailgate and Tailgate and door(s).

I had a loaner 2023 and the menu gave significantly more options including an option I believe (not sure if I remember correctly) to turn off the trunk opening with the trunk button.

Is there anyway to get all the options on mine? I'd like to turn off the trunk button opening the trunk as I have the kick under the rear bumper function and for some reason, my wallet will somehow occasionally hit the trunk button and I come outside to an open trunk.

Dont know about menu but this can be coded

For the keyfob trunk button, it has to be held down to open the trunk. How is your wallet situated that it holds down the trunk button long enough for the trunk to open??

As the other guy said, it can be coded though.

Lol nope. The wallet I use is the Bellroy Apex Slim Sleeve. I think with the wallet being the way it is, the corner may hit the button if I have the buttons against/facing the wallet? Honestly no idea. Phone is in left pocket. Wallet and car key are only things in right pocket.

Like the menu options can be coded to show up to match the 2023 menu? Or just simply the option to just unlock the trunk with button (and not open) can be coded?

my keyfob is set so that you FIRST have to unlock the car before you can open the tailgate... 2 step process that never misses

I dont know, i coded my 2019 to first unlock, then hold..only after a few secs it opens. No menu options however.
