BMW e91 pre-lci rear PDC problem
Hello, as you can see from the title I have a problem with the PDC. My car is BMW e91 pre-lci 2006 and only has rear PDC, I don't have a navi display, or pdc button to activate/deactivate.
What I found out so far: -All my sensors are working (little clicking from all of them). -Checked the PDC Module - the circuit board looks brand new (no signs of water or moisture) -I haven't measured the PDC fuse, but I figured if my sensors are working, the fuse must be fine. My VIN number (according to mdecoder.com) says I should have Professional head unit (uses the car's audio system - speakers), but in reality, I have Business HU, which uses a separate beeper/buzzer. So if my car was with Professional HU from factory and one of the previous owners changed it for some reason. Could that be the issue for the PDC not working? |

So, you are just not hearing the beeps, correct? Can you check the wiring to or the buzzer speaker itself to see if it's OK?
Also, if you can, scan the car for any codes. |

That's correct. I'm not sure if I have a buzzer or if it's connected to the speakers. How can I check the wiring? I saw the 2 cables that connect to the PDC module go into the car, but I don't know where they go.
Side note: I don't have the option to regulate the PDC volume on the radio. |

yes, you need to bring the professional headunit back, coded to pdc option
or code the business headunit it is sometime forget its config and pdc and aux function disappear
