Wanted to add 2023-1 North American EVO map was just updated as well. I got my update notice in iDrive last week if I recall.

You need the BMW download manager and an annual subscription from BMW connected drive. There are other unofficial sources

I've never heard of a BMW Download Manager and there is no link to anything like that in my BMW Connected Drive account. Is anybody aware of a way to force an update to your base map? I get regular updates to my local map but I'm still on the 2019 North America map.

I'm pretty sure you can't force the update. At that, the updates are regional only. I just went with the download & FSC form Gerry at
bmwnavcodes.....m..... . It was significantly cheaply than from BMW; IIRC around $50.
