Little update with the body kit, my previous front lip got destroyed by the car in front of me on a highway the other days (dropped boxes and stuff from his truck), so I decided to purchase a new one with the updated style for my car, pretty happy with the result.
Update: - Dinan intake + RaceChip GTS + RaceChip XLR installed - Roof rail + Window trim + front lower left and right chrome deleted (Gloss black vinyl wrap) - Roof shark fin (antenna) blacked out - Swapped out the front grille with the all black one (no M stripes anymore) - Removed the red strip on the front lip Soon: - 15mm wheel spacers - H&R lowering springs Car looks much cleaner now! I am not sure which year it was implemented in the UK, but I have various colours that I can select. Perhaps the selection of them came as part of an overall package when I ordered the car new (2020). I have forgotten.

Hey Mike!
Lowered springs from Eibach: https://eibachshop.com/index.php?p25...ings-bmw-x1-x2. Really happy with the height and especially with handling. Now I'm close to changing the shock absorbers. I will be putting Bilstein B8 Plus: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-bilstein...t/22-251985kt/. That should "renew" my ride since OEM shocks are pretty much gone now with almost 40,000 km.

Well, I'm facing the same question. I'm toward the B8 since it's designed for lowered springs, whereas the B6 is more like OEM. However, I definitely don't want a ride too stiff, though.

I've read on other platforms people pared B8 with lowering springs and had good success so I don't know. I guess someone has to be the test dummy.

That's why B8 is designed for lowered springs. When the car is lowered, you lose some suspension travel because the damper is slightly more closed than it is with the longer original spring. Bottom line, if you have lowering springs, you need B8. On the other hand, if you have stock springs, you should go for B4. Using Bilstein B6 or B8 dampers on standard springs will make the ride stiffer with very little benefit in stability and performance (compared to sport/lowering springs). https://www.bilstein-shocks.co.uk/bl...nd-bilstein-b8 http://drivetunemedia.com/bilstein-b...he-difference/
