Uggh, that's terrible! But no, they have no incentive to address panel alignment or paint quality. And really, as long as people keep throwing money at them, why should they? I don't get it... I'm not a T$LA hater (well, a little), but I sure don't care for their cars.

And why I wouldn't own a Tesla..... https://driveteslacanada.ca/news/tes...ronic-abusers/
I'll be damned if a computer company selling software with wheels is going to tell.me what to do with my car and be able to remotely shut features off. |

By conjuring up the movie, Spaceballs...it gives Plaid some meaning...making it a little more Ludicrous.

But you can’t see the panel gaps when it’s flying by My brother-in-law pickup up a Plaid the end of December. They actually gave him $85k trade-in for his Model S P100D with over 100,000 kms, chipped windshield and a cracked glass roof I can’t imagine what it would cost to fix the glass roof. The fit and finish on his is pretty good, compared to these pictures.

In the Seattle area (where my fam is) this is the preferred SUV of choice for Amazon/Microsoft nerds. Call me shallow but I'd rather be in a stylish SUV. RR Sport, X3/5M, Cayenne GTS type vehicles come to mind.
Anyhow, the tech and acceleration are certainly impressive. But in reality on public roads it gets boring having such a fast vehicle and being unable to utilize any of its capabilities. There's always some grumpy motorcycle cop hiding behind the bushes...don't ask how I know. These vehicles are really just a showcase for bragging rights. In reality I never see anybody in these types of cars punching it.

Classic Tesla quality control. Laughable for such an expensive car!

I'm neutral on Tesla and EVs, but I just can't get over the looks of the Model X and Y. The S and 3 are nothing to write home about, but at least they aren't offensive pigs.
I can only imagine how these would sell if they actually looked nice. But then again, they continue to sell everything they can build. So what do I know

It is interesting that the styling of the Y isn't a dramatic change over the 3 when you view them side by side, one looks much uglier than the other. I personally think the model 3P in red looks actually quite nice while the model YP in the same color looks kind of homely. The styling just doesn't look as good stretched into a CUV look.
