Nope, only from the BMW navigation.

I like nav directions in the HUD so much that I am using the built in nav most of the time now to have that.

Never say never — the iDrive on my M240i at least offers you the option on various nav maps to use when you splits screens using CarPlay. The navigation directions for the map chosen are also displayed on one of the quadrants. Can't be toooo hard to go from that to displaying those on the HUD 🤷*♂️

Famous last words, they still haven't released an official update to pre-2020 cars to let them run full screen CarPlay so I really doubt they will ever add a feature like 3rd party navigation to the HUD.
