The only bulbs I haven't done are the front turn signals but will re-read some posts and (perhaps!) have another go. |

Today, I did a coding session with Bimmercode to modify the settings (BULB -> LED) and put all the controls cold and warm on inactive.
I then changed all the halogen bulbs for LEDs: Front = turn signals=BAU15S and fog lights=H8 (daylights / lowbeams / highbeams are already LED) Rear = turn signals, brake lights, fog lights and reversing lights (all BA15S). Everything works without any error code or blinking. And what a look with the LEDs ...

Question for those who have changed their halogen bulbs to LED on the rear of the car.
There are a total of 2 bulbs for the reverse, 2 bulbs for the rear turn signal and 6 bulbs for the brake, right? |

I replaced the following lights: Front Amber turns, Front LEDS for the FOGs in the same color as the LED Headlights....and are they ever bright! Rear: LED's for reverse lights, Turns and Stop lights. There are already LED's over the plates. The code in the F4x ECU allows a programmer to choose LEDs or regular bulbs so that there are no errors. Two things that we changed with programming: LED fogs stay on when you use the flashing high beams (light horns) and LEDs on door handles turn on when reversing so that you can see better at night when parking.

I replaced the low beams with a set of LEDs from LASFIT.COM. The lights work flawlessly. I was able to code them via Bimmercode nonetheless I'm getting an error with the SOS system. It says SOS Malfunction, so I presume, that it is making some kind of interference. To test if the error was because of the bulbs, I reverted it back to my halogens bulbs, as suspected the error went away. Has this happened to any of you, if so, how did you fix it?
