2020 General Election

Figure since 2020 almost here might as well start this thread here my thoughts at this moment

considering we saw virtual no change between democrat gains and loses if we go by EC for 2018 map

View post on imgur.com

Trump was elected with 37.5% favor in 2016
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...orability.html

His Approval before 2018 election was 38%

Right now it hovers at 45% it appears we are looking at a major landslide for 2020 unless something radical happens that drops him below 35%

https://news.gallup.com/poll/203198/...ald-trump.aspx

of viable contenders against Trump my top three at this moment are

Bloomberg as it solves the DNC money issue
Buttigieg as he about as moderate as Bloomberg a decent debater
Gabbard as she appears to be the only one who can go tip for tap in a debate.

Way to stir the pot NC.....it's only a matter of time before RD loses his shit and jumps on this. FTR I think you're about right with your predictions.....and I also think HRC is still biding her time.....I posted a thread on this a few weeks back and took some abuse but she ain't dead yet.

Happy New Year.

Don't know about HRC but nothing that I currently see paints a pretty picture for the democrats. Historically I've been pretty dead on in Presidential Election even called MI and PA flipping correctly in 2016. I also was dead on in both Obam victories and Bush. Sort of helps when you travel around and get the sense of the local populations feelings at any given time.

Economy is doing great. Pretty much a guarantee of a Trump win.

Yeah, if the Dems pick anyone remotely credible who moderates the current crap they’re all spouting after securing their nomination and the economy takes a dump, it could be a race.

Here a piece of the real world for you, our president of the united states of america will be Donald Trump and according to my analysis he will remain president for another four years after the end of 2020 unless some major calamity occurs.

Times have changed Norman, and we have a very unpopular president-even in places like Alabama, his ratings have slid by 14 percentage points.

This and by talking to different people (talking as in a real conversation using their tongues - not in front of 1080P's). This is actually a mind blowing thing to a lot of people

Funny how almost half of all registered voters (48%) say they are certain they will vote against Trump, while only a third (34%) say they will certainly vote for him. Subject to change of course, but the three big swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania all elected Democrats in 2018. Wisconsin elected a Democratic Governor to replace a Republican and reelected a Democratic Senator; Pennsylvania elected a Democratic Governor, and Democrats there took 3 house seats away from Republican incumbents.

In Michigan, which the Democrats lost to Trump by 11,000 votes, the Dems won big by sweeping the elections for Governor and senator and flipping two house seats. Voters also banned gerrymandering and created automatic voter registration which will likely undo some of the gains from 2016 by repeublicans.

And also-unemployment has been reported to be climbing in key swing states like Michigan and Wisconsin.
