I was too but they wanted my car for a week to tune and test, it’s my daily so I gave up on it.
I would like an intake and exhaust though, not sure I want to mess with boost since it’s already 22.8 psi. |

Where did you see that boost? OBD monitor? I am most concerned on transmission real TQ to wheel as I think it is 350 to 360 max before breaking. Like a little buffer. No one anywhere from what I can tell has dynoed the car to find out how much room there is to tune. ... I don't want to be let down just if it is so close. But on upside would be nice to know how conservative if 306 and 336 are real or much more. My butt dyno and heavy foot makes me feel car is quick. First Euro car and experience is so different to all my other Asian imports.

Yes, obdlink reads 22.8psi. I agree on torque, there isn’t much room but there isn’t on stock x28i units either. Of course the platform hasn’t been around long enough to be proven weak either.
But...if they say it’s good to 350, it’s probably good to 400+ without true issues. |

I thought we had 2 different transes, bigger one in M35i.
Max Torque Rating: AWF8F35: 350 Nm AWF8F45: 480 Nm M35i 480 Newton-Meter (N∙m) = 354.02983 Foot-Pound (ft∙lb) |

We do, I’m just saying we know there are x1s and minis out there exceeding the rating, especially when there is almost no wiggle room on that.

I poked around with the OBDII and sensors re:App on my Android, and quite honestly, I don't see 'much' room for improvement other than turning up the boost, but that is dependent on what specific Turbo installed and sizing, as well as exact Transmission we have. Car is pretty quick. Would like probably 20 more HP/TQ. Waiting to see what the market shows - in time. Yup, have to wait, and be cautious of BMW suing people for mods if they are under finance. As of right now, I am very pleased with how things are stock, just would like to know what the 'real' numbers are.

As Marcthedark said, you need to baseline your own car on the same dyno you plan to use after mods. Otherwise too many variables...
Curious to see what gains you can get from the small engine that's already pumping out so much power? Wish I could do something for my rather un-highly strung 198bhp version of the 2 litre engine... Waiting for someone like MHD to release a tune.

There’s a local place that does 3 runs for $50 on Wednesday. They use a mustang.

I am going 2 weeks from Wednesday so I’ll post em up. Sounds like anything over 220 should be a win.

Don't forget it's a mustang - I doubt it will hit those numbers. The 220 is a solid number to shoot for. If he hits those numbers on a mustang - our engines are massively under-rated, and honestly doesn't feel as fast as say a 260 on a mustang dyno, in my experience. Good luck Billnchristy - can't wait for the results.

On second thought I guess I have to wait. Just got a turbo recall and they can’t look at it until the day before I was supposed to dyno.
