I will reach out to them right now.. *if* some decent group buy came up, I would probably (likely a complete financial idiot) fall off the turnip truck and buy it.

Thanks; been eyeing this up too long not to just "do it" at this point. So, I would have to be the first in that line (or close second lol) It's something that would "complete" the car and I regret not doing it to begin with.

I pinged Nelson through chat on the website (and assuming the same Nelson), he asked to be emailed about this idea. Lets hope!

Ok.. so the official word from Nelson is the following:
1. 10 orders minimum 2. Prepay before all ship 3. 10% discount for the group buy 4. Prices are going UP SOON, as BMW raised their prices.

The original post is about a cluster retrofit asking for Bimmertech to release something so I find this to be categorized correctly as it is an offer from an official forum supplier. (same company too!) When one organizes a group buy, it will appear that they in fact are selling the item when they are not. Where's the spam, I'm starving! Wait, you meant the post? Don't tease me like that; I can only eat on Wednesdays

Nelson@BimmerTech I would assume we should still swap clusters before taking it to the dealer? Also, I would like to code out a few things but don't want to compromise my current setup so I wanted to ask: Can I code this out to display white at night? KOMBI 3007 DIM_NACHT_EIN werte = FF from werte = 32 ? Coding out 2TB; will this cause any issues with KOMBI? (planning on coding that part out for menue_3 and menue_4) Thanks in advance

Hey guys, I wanted to share my review of the 6WB now that it is installed and I have been running with it for a few days.
This is a seriously awesome upgrade, and BimmerTech did a flawless job on the remote coding! Its really amazing what they can do remotely!

Absolutely yes and don't have to code it.. cant remember the exact option but if you go through your menus on your primary display, there is a mode option that will keep the white screen, and will just say what mode you are in rather than change the whole thing.

If you're in NorCal or are able to make it out here, there's a guy in Richmond who's doing it for $1300 that includes coding. I was talking to the guy and was about to go through with it until I found out that nav will not be usable on HUD anymore.
