Nice I always wanted a more expensive X1 with less room. What's the point of this car seriously? You gonna kill the wagon and bring that? Time to look elsewhere.

Wasn't expecting it to look good, but this is a surprise, I actually like the way that looks.
Not sure about the BMW badge on the C-Pillar though. |

BMW is becoming a recycle bin company. I can see the company loosing its fan base within a few years. Nothing is really exciting. Recycled engines, recycled interiors, the same steering wheel on nearly every car. It's getting very tiresome. Lack of exciting driving dynamics with their new 4-cyl on nearly every lineup now unless you add $15-$20k to get a proper BMW 6-cyl engine. You are witnessing history here. The fall of BMW as the ultimate driving machine.
Audi on the other hand it's killing it with their interiors and exterior designs and MB engines are really starting to get my attention.

I can't believe they haven't added top down view yet, I was really hoping the X2 would intro it to the UKL platform.

4 door wranglers , the funky renegade everywhere. Plus Subaru makes a dent also. These are great college student/yuppie mobiles. |

Mind you... if they offered the B58 engine (and can squeeze it in) I'll overlook the ugliness and buy it over a 3GT

I think there's a typo somewhere. Full-LED headlights are stated as standard and shown in the image as optional.
I don't get why X2 M Sport X has to look different than X2 M Sport. I wish I can get it in AWD but with the M Sport design. Update: I think full LED headlights come as standard for USA/Canada models, and also you can get AWD with either M Sport or M Sport X. That Misano Blue is so attractive. The more I look at the M Sport trim the more I love the overall look and proportions. It's a pity that we've recently gotten 2 X1s in the past year in the family. Otherwise this car would be on our immediate radar. That transmission shifter is a much better improvement over the X1's and is more in-line with other BMW models. I'm still reserved about the rear window visibility. Those rear headrests look very nice, and appear to be a better improvement over the X1's. Although I'm not sure how comfortable they will be for the rear passengers. They need to bring a M Performance M35i xdrive 300hp version from Mini posthaste! I saw a figure that in 2015 U.S. sports car sales totaled about 420,000 whereas SUV/CUV sales were almost seven million. I don't mind bmw chasing money, but other than the rondel these new cars are no better than Korean and Japanese alternatives. Also bmw warranty and service packages are now worse than the competition. And the price! Unless you're getting an M car you are not getting a good value. Bmw has joined the race to the bottom with Mercedes and Audi/VW leading the way. Remember the 1970s and U.S. cars? The pinto? K cars? That is how we competed with the Carrolla and Civic. If bmw quality starts to slip like Mercedes has it will be an ugly crash at the bottom. We will see.
