Well, after sitting in a X1 in dealer back in mid-Oct ( before the official launch date ), pulling it apart in general and thinking, yes, this car has come at the right time. Then thanks to this website and the excellent PDFs and posts on here I can bore on about the X1.

I was surprised when the April brochure was posted on here, I didn't expect any changes so soon, but the extra fuel tank is perfect for my needs.

But, I recently got a day long test drive and throughly enjoyed myself, so sorted a spec and a price. Changed the spec again, as you do.

Now I have to wait... and the waiting is only going to get worse until I receive it.

Here in the UK I understand we're unable to track the build progress, so I can't even stare blankly at a static page!

As I'm working on the basis this will the last diesel car I buy, I went for the 25d.
I've gone back and forth over a 6 cylinder X4 or X3 20d vs the 4 cylinder X1 a lot as the prices merge.
But the cost, size and more useful shape for my needs means the X1 won out.
