4 series auto hold?
On my wife's C250 Benz, if you come to a stop and press the brake all the way in, the car will enter an automatic hold mode that prevents it from rolling but allowing you to take your foot off the break. I wasnt sure if there is a way to make the F32 do the same? I don't remember seeing it listed at all in the build materials or packages when I built my car.

Mwm1166 - I believe that you're referring to the ability of the c250 to lock on the brakes once the ASS has switched the engine off. It used to be a useful function on my Merc.
My F30 doesn't have that ability - you can press the Park button once the ASS has switched the engine off and that will enable you to take your foot off the brake. However, you do have to put your foot back on the brake and move the selector to Drive to enable the engine to restart. It's not as elegant a solution as the Merc, but I far prefer my F30! |

Hill Assistant is for manuals. I think the feature they are talking about here is automatic parking brake that is found on the 5 series with an auto.
Course it requires a electronic parking brake which is lame and you should prefer the manual style found in our F30s. |

It only seems to be on models that have the electronic parking brake. A friend of mine has an X5 with auto hold.

I have a f10 535. It's a cool feature in traffic but I never have it on full time. When you are parking, it can clamp down all of a sudden when you're not ready to stop.

I've confirmed that the Auto Hill Hold function is not present on my 2014 335i. I like the feature though. My E9X M3's had it.

I must correct my prior statement. Auto Hill Hold IS present on my manual 2014 335i. I have found that it only seems to become active when Auto Start/Stop is disengaged. I tested it twice this morning just to make sure that my mind wasn't playing tricks on me. |

I have to say, it is on my 335... and it has a manual e-brake. I'll even take a video to prove it. Next time you're stopped on an incline, take your foot off the brake. My car doesn't move until a few seconds later (when it disengages)
