Wanted winter wheels for 325D m-sport
Hi Guys, I am after a set of winter wheels for my car. I would prefer 17 or 18 with RFT if possible.
Can collect or arrange courier if required. Give me a shout if you have anything going. Cheers |

they are conti run flats, so not winter tyres as such. saying that i've not had a problem with them and are much better than the bridge stone/good year run flats in rain etc

Thanks for the offer mate I am really after a set with winter tyres on.
The tyres alone are going to cost too much plus your wheels. So need to see what other options are out there. cheers |

Those prices sound fair enough but I would dump the runflats and buy something like a Falken 439 at just over £100 each. Getting a good set of wheels isn't that easy unless you are prepared to accept a lot of kerb marks. I wanted immaculate wheels last year and took a long time and a few £££ to get them but I wanted my car kept looking decent. £400 ish for a good set of wheels and say £450 for tyres should get you a decent setup.

so with the prices been banded around, me asking £330 for a set of oem 17" alloys with nearly new rear runflats and the fronts having 3/4 of life left sounds a good deal.

You maybe need to allow the cost of a refurb, approx £40 per wheel. Adding that to the price of your wheels makes them a bit pricey in my mind. THe tyres really aren't worth mush as your target market has to be people wanting 17s for winter and therefore fitting winter tyres. Drop the price to £250 ish and they will sell in a flash.

Maybe you are correct and I've quoted the incorrect reference (E46), but the wheels and tyres were supplied by BMW Eastern Motors, Edinburgh.
I've attached a link to a photo of the wheels and tyres below, however if you are unable to open it the wheels in the photos provided by jonnyuk06 are the same type. Maybe you can advise the type they are? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2837134/Wint...6%20Wheels.zip |

Those are E90 wheels mate therefore worth loads more than an E46 set. From memory they are style 158 and with good winter tyres at the right price they should be very desirable.
