Hi!
Was wondering what is your version of the car's media systems firmware?
My cars build date is 11/16, and the firmware is MV-130.009.004.
When I go to www.bmw.com/update and enter VIN, I can only download a firmware that is older than the one that is already installed in the car.
Can see on other forums that there is a MV-130.015.001, but how to get it?

Website never has latest firmware. Only wash to get is through flash programming.

Flash programming is what is used to update ECU firmware/software.

Got the car updated at dealer yesterday, the firmware version is now 130.016.001

A question about the recent update. Dealer said the late fall update is avaliable now (not sure about the month and version). Im curious maybe someone is already have it installed (pre summer facelift car). Is there anything changed in the iDrive? I heared (a roumor) they should make a "new" interface linke in G- cars possible.

Releases occur all the time. There were two in November; but they never come with release notes/logs.

Interface can come with tweaks, but does not automatically change to newer/different overall version.
