This is true, but will surely put alot of people off, especially with the LCI's out 6 months before this was!

This would have been right when the recession hit us, a lot of orders got cancelled then so a lot of old stock would have been lying around, same with MINI's too as I used to work at a dealership.

Would have been a very old build that car, I think the LCI's were Aug/Sept 08 build

Mine is 6 months or so older than the registration.... But its still an LCI so its not obvious.

What alerted me to it was when the car bonged up that I needed a brake fluid change well within what I thought was two years.

The supplying dealer was sympathetic and sent me a cheque as compensation.

You'll still get some unsuspecting person buying that pre-LCI not realising its the old model - when they could be buying an LCI on an 09 plate. People aint all as savy as us lot.

I don't like that black spoiler on a white car.
