I don't think I'd want it repaired, I'd be hoping it'd be written off...

As others have said, I hope everyone is ok.

And....that's a write-off!

Yeh mine, stupid lorry driver cut me off at a roundabout and i swerved to miss him and swerved again to missing another vehicle before hitting the post head on. Got a fractured sternum and wrist. Pretty lucky thats all.

Damn! All the best and hope you recover swiftly

I guess you'll have a hard time proving the third party was at fault, unless you have a dash cam with clear footage of the lorry?

Hope you have a quick recovery, and aren't in too much pain. As others have said, I'd hope that the car's written off - it would not be the same after a repair to damage that bad.

Luckily a lady behind the lorry is my witness to this. He was in the 1st lane going to the 4th exit! Crazy driver, just glad i am alive.

Good to hear

Well the car did its job and kept you from severe injury. I had a three car accident in my previous E70 and I honestly believe that if I was in a lesser car I would have got some pretty bad injuries. Instead I managed to walk away with whiplash and some burns from the airbag

Hope the witness will help you mitigate liability

I'm glad you are ok. The car protected you well but I don't see how they could repair it at reasonable cost to the insurance company.

Lucky

Immy - sorry to see the damage and it only goes to strengthen my resolve to buy a dashcam - glad to hear you are ok and I'm sure that the car will be a write off - you didn't have gap insurance by any chance - I had it on my previous car and have carried it across - a good product for such an instance IMHO.
