It sounds pretty good stock but with some modding, it sounds really good.

You can delete the secondary cat. A user on this forum from Spain (I believe) has done it on his car. Either that or you can golf tee mod it and have both flaps open at all times.

Aha - thanks. Yes I’ve seen the flaps mod but not too fussed... I thought there may be an alternative exhaust, or parts available already...

Thanks again

Hopefully, there will be more aftermarket parts available in the next year or two!

Why would you want the exhaust any louder than it already is in Sport +? lol. It's obnoxiously loud as it is, especially the backfiring on downshifts, but i freaking love it.

I guess it's all relative... I think Sport+ doesn't have enough sound to it... wish you could hear it more without having to wait for the shifts/pops/burbles. But to each their own!

More power equals more sound. Mine is way crazy loud and pops more on higher maps

Have startled many a middle aged lady starting up my car at the garage where I park my car... My wife hates it. I love it. I think many people are surprised a X3 can make the sounds that the M40 does on the road...wait until the full blown X3 M comes out...although the noise will be less of a surprise w that car.

Not louder, but maybe a change in tone to make it deeper and more aggressive.
