Yesterday finally we took possession of our X1
which is lovely, but i've noticed a severe lack of illumination all around (no extended light pack), compared also to my e46.

I want to retrofit at least some:
- foot well lights
- main and 2x rear (with map/courtesy light as i have the basic ones)
- trunk light

is everything already prewired with no need of coding on body unit or I need to buy specific harness/code?

a retrofit guide is highly appreciated if available


at the moment i don't care about ambient light, puddle light, and illuminated door handles, but info on retrofitting these too are welcome
