The creaky leaky VW pano roof problem was limited to Golfs in North America, fortunately, and the sunroof in our Tiguan was fantastic. Even bigger than the X1.
I love sunroofs precisely because I don’t live in a hot country, so opening up the roof is something I can do frequently. I rarely close the shade, even in summer, so even on days when I can’t open the roof there’s still an open feeling to the cabin.
