What if someone puts down a non-refundable deposit with you and there is an unexpected delay of ordering the M2 say of about 3-6 months than is that buyer forced to wait to order with you if he finds an immediate allocation somewhere else? Or can he get his money and buy elsewhere?

They already have 12-13 people on the waiting list already. I don't think you'd get your car anytime soon on this list. Better to find a shorter one.
