Transverse mounted engine with front wheel drive bias. You can feel the torque-steer under power in a turn. Door armrests are too low for a 6' man. Very odd driver's seat position sits you very high like you're sitting on the car, not in the car like most BMW's. Exterior design is very nice. Welcome to a MINI with BMW clothes.
