There were exactly zero credible reports of the G42 coming with a 6MT.
Well, the Z4 20i can be had with a 6MT, so maybe the 220i will as well at some point, who knows; but nobody promised a 6MT M240i, ever, I think. RWD M240i though is very much on the table according to those reviews, just not from the start.
