No, they most certainly cannot and will not mount a transverse inline 6 in this vehicle or any other UKL vehicle.

Can't help but notice you sound a bit upset here. Why?

If the product has roughly 300hp just like other 35i vehicle (and reportedly, it will), then it makes perfect sense to use the 35i moniker. As you are probably already aware, the I6 powered vehicles are all switching to the 40i label, and the 30i label is now for vehicles that use the ~250hp B48. So then, 35i is actually the best fit here.

Progress - it's a good thing. Roll with it, don't hate it.
